Why instruct me for expert witness services?

I have over 16 years’ experience across all areas of maternity care, including community midwifery, homebirths, stand-alone and integrated birth centres, antenatal clinics, inpatient antenatal and postnatal wards, labour wards, telephone triage, day assessment units, and maternity triage. I also have significant experience counselling women regarding care outside of guidance (care against medical advice) and mode-of-birth decision-making.

I am a currently practising midwife and maintain up-to-date clinical skills across all areas of midwifery, ensuring my opinions are grounded in contemporary practice. Expert Experience

I have over five years’ experience providing expert midwifery opinions for medico-legal cases, delivering clear, balanced, and well-reasoned reports. I have also worked as a trainer and mentor for new expert witnesses.

Report Turnaround Times

I fully appreciate the importance of timely delivery for my clients; an estimate of time from receipt of full documentation to report delivery are as follows:

LSR: 2 weeks

CPR Full Report: 4 weeks

ENS: By agreement, typically 2 weeks

PRR / supplementary reports: 4 weeks

Fees and Terms

My fees are designed to offer excellent value, reflecting both my professional expertise and the care I put into every report. You can explore a clear, itemised breakdown of costs using the link below.

Subject to availability, I may be able to complete reports sooner than the advertised timeframe. An expedited service is available at a premium rate. Please indicate in your enquiry if you require earlier delivery.
